🍃 Dewdrop Tilt
Drag one leaf through a 60-second morning, catching each falling drop where its weight can steady the water already on board.

Controls
Desktop
Drag with the mouse or use Left/Right and A/D; P pauses, R restarts and the Sound button mutes synthesized cues
Mobile
Drag anywhere across the sky to position the leaf, or use the two large movement buttons below the balance meter
What is distinct here
Dewdrop Tilt combines a one-axis catching action with continuous balance correction. Its meaningful difference is that horizontal position does two jobs at once: reaching the falling drop and deciding where its weight enters the leaf, so a risky catch can create or solve the next problem.
Rules
- Move the leaf horizontally and catch falling drops for sixty seconds. The first three drops form a fixed left-right-center lesson; later positions vary from a seeded sequence.
- A drop adds weight on the exact side where it lands. Let the marker leave the safe band and the leaf spills; a center catch pulls the marker back toward neutral.
- Missing a drop uses one of three morning lights. Three misses end the run, while consecutive catches add a small streak bonus.
- The pace rises after twenty and forty seconds. Survive the full minute to complete the collection; only the best completed score is stored in this browser.
Strategy tips
- Read the balance marker before chasing the next drop. When the leaf is right-heavy, catch on its left half so the new weight works as a correction.
- A catch near the center line reduces the existing tilt and earns the largest base award. Use it as a recovery move, not just an easy target.
- The last twenty seconds add faster drops and occasional heavy starred drops. Move early toward their forecast line, then fine-tune the catch point.
What we tested
Pure logic tests cover seeded opening drops, movement bounds, center recovery, opposite-side correction, miss signals, spill failure, pause freezing, all three difficulty phases and full-minute completion. The interface adds pointer capture, keyboard and large touch controls, responsive layout, local-only best score and browser-synthesized audio with mute.
Frequently asked questions
Is Dewdrop Tilt just a falling-object catcher?
No. Catching is only half the decision: the landing offset changes the carried-water torque. Each move must both reach the drop and choose whether to add weight, counter the current tilt or use the center recovery zone.
Are the drops random or can a run become unfair?
The opening lesson is fixed and every later position uses a deterministic seeded sequence. The leaf can reach the full spawn range, misses do not immediately end the run, and the safe band plus center recovery leave room to correct a poor catch.
Does Dewdrop Tilt use downloaded music or upload my score?
No. Its short sound cues are synthesized locally with the browser audio system, and the active run stays in the current session. Only the best completed score is stored locally in this browser.
