Mobile

Tap the pod with the fewest leaves, read the active color or shape lens, then tap the matching receiver

What is distinct here

Signal Orchard combines urgency ordering with a changing attribute rule. The meaningful choice is not just matching a symbol: players must first identify the one pod that cannot wait, then deliberately switch between color and shape reasoning.

Rules

  1. Six signal pods always show unique lifetimes from one to six leaves. The one-leaf pod is the only valid first choice.
  2. Harvest the shortest-lived pod, then read the active lens. COLOR routes its color band; SHAPE routes its ring, prism or peak symbol.
  3. A correct route advances the orchard one turn and grows a fresh six-leaf pod. Choosing a waiting pod or wrong receiver uses one of three signals.
  4. Root twelve pods to win. Quick clean routes and longer combos score more, while the best completed score stays in this browser.

Strategy tips

  • Read the leaf meter before color or shape. Exactly one pod has the shortest remaining lifetime.
  • After selecting the urgent pod, ignore the inactive attribute: a color lens reads the pod color, while a shape lens reads its symbol.
  • Save the one-route marker for a confusing lens switch. It identifies both the urgent pod and receiver, but reduces the score by 120 points.

What we tested

The queue is deterministic: lifetimes remain unique from one to six, so every turn has one valid urgent pod. Tests cover twelve complete routes, hint limits, pause timing, keyboard focus and wrong-receiver penalties.

Frequently asked questions

Can Signal Orchard create a random dead end?

No. The queue keeps exactly one pod at every lifetime from one through six. Each correct route removes the one-leaf pod, ages the others and adds a fresh six-leaf pod; automated tests verify all twelve turns.

Can I play without relying on color alone?

Yes. Every pod also shows a color name, a distinct shape, leaf dots and text. The active lens explicitly says COLOR or SHAPE, and each receiver has a number, icon and label.

Does Signal Orchard upload my route or score?

No. The route stays in the active session, and only the best completed score is stored locally in this browser.
